California native, Amahlia Stevens, founded Vitamin A in 2000 with a mission to bring a modern sensibility to swimwear. Formerly a designer for Yvon Chouinard at Patagonia, Stevens was inspired by the idea that style and sustainability are inseparable. With this vision in mind, she pioneered the concept of sustainable quality swimwear, creating EcoLux, the first luxury swim fabric made from recycled fibers. With sustainable innovation at our core, Vitamin A is the leading name in the modern swim space. Effortless, elevated, and rooted in an authentic Californian sensibility, our brand has garnered a cult following, from A-List celebrities and tastemakers alike. Founded on the idea that the pieces you live in don't have to compromise the earth. We make effortlessly flattering essentials built for the utmost versatility. Pulling inspiration from the beauty of nature and the mood of hours spent by the sea, we craft our collections for confidence in fit, respect for the planet, and the ease of the everyday.
