TRANSPARENCY
We'll Show Our Work
August 7, 2026

Trust is not a thing you claim. It is a thing you let people check.
A house that curates, that ranks, that decides what you see first, is holding a quiet kind of power over your attention. The only honest way to hold it is with the lights on. So this is a standing promise — not a one-time confession, but a practice we intend to keep publishing against.
How we curate. We will be open about how a piece earns its place: what we look at, what disqualifies something, who decides. Not a secret taste handed down from nowhere — a set of standards you can read, argue with, and hold us to.
How we define sustainability. We are still working this out (Still Becoming), so we will show the working. What criteria we use today, where we know they fall short, and what changed the last time we revised them. When the definition moves, you will see it move, and why.
How the ranking works. What decides the order of what you see — and, just as important, what does not. No brand buys its way up the list (Never for Sale); the sustainability tilt is real and we will describe it; and where a commercial interest touches what you're shown, we will say so in plain words, not bury it in a policy.
We will not get all of this perfect, and we will not publish everything at once. But the direction is fixed: more open over time, never less. Where we cannot yet be fully transparent, we would rather tell you that than pretend the box isn't there.
And we do not open the box only to be checked. We open it to be challenged — because that is how a house gets better. Show your work and someone will find the flaw in it; we would rather they did. We are learning from the best makers and clearest thinkers we can find, and we are learning, most of all, from you — the woman who runs the search, disagrees with a ranking, tells us a definition is too soft or a piece unworthy of its place. That is not noise to be managed. It is the mechanism.
So we would rather evolve with you than perform for you. Our growth and yours are meant to be tangled together — a house and the women it serves, correcting each other over years. Hold us to our word, and we become something better than we could have written alone. That interdependence is not a risk to the brand. It is the brand.
Ask us how something works. If we're doing this right, the answer is already written down.
